Amras Telemnar the War Bear
History:
Amras Telemnar son of Mahtan Telemnar became the shaman of his people after losing his father in a bloody battle trying to purify the forrest of angry spirits that had taken hold over the wild life within. A brown bear who'd just bore her first cub, whilst simply trying to defend her young from poachers was posessed, forcing her to tripple in size and hostily ravage anything in her path she dared deem a, "threat". Mahtan was only trying to maintain the eternal balance and exorcise the vengeful spirit within her when she sank her teeth into his jugular, then tossed him aside like rag doll.
Enraged, Amras climbed her back and with one mighty blow to her temple with his stone club-absolved her of her violence. Amras understood from his father's teaching's that nature can be cruel as well as nurturing. Nature also has a way of providing creation where all that was once left was destruction. Her cub, now motherless lay cooing in the den. Amras saw that Mahtan would live on anew, a companion for life. Two children forced together by tragedy.

Amras received the vision some years later after the incident. Following in his father's footsteps, he continued his spiritual training and providing for his people best he could. One night he was blessed with a vision, an island not far from here was in danger. It remained a blissful sight of evergreens, perfect blossoming fields of flowers, and rivers and streams. But others were coming, coming to take all that was natural and morph it into something wretched. His vision showed warring races driven by greed and power that would innevitably to a permanent scarring on the land, where nothing could grow and life would no longer be sustainable. Unable to allow such a thing to happen, Amras and his people traveled to the Island to defend life itself. His roots will burrow deep within the earth, and Amras will not yield to any who oppose the wrath of the forrest. He will stop at nothing to maintain the wilderness takes this island and all the scurge with it.
